Kids!

The other day Emma asked for a tent so I built her one out of the card table. She then asked me to move James in the tent with her. I told her I would in just a minute. When I went to move him she was in there talking to him, it was so cute that I ran to get the camera. By the time I got back though she had decided she was done waiting and would just pull him to the tent herself. Thank goodness I got back right when she started this and was able to stop her.

Pulling James.

James is just learning to sit up. Yeah!

I thought it was hard to get Emma to look at the camera. It's ten times worse to get two kids to look at the camera at the same time.

As you can see, I did not succeed.

Crash! Emma also likes to poke James in his face but he never complains.

What a good helper to lick the beater!

Labor Day Weekend

We headed to Bear Lake Friday morning and planned to stay as long as we could last through the weekend. Our last overnight stay at Bear Lake last Labor Day did not go so well. Emma and I got little sleep and I ended up with 12 stitches. So we were hoping for a better out come and we got one. The kids were pretty good. James was a breeze. He just takes everything in stride and when we would wake at night it was because we had wormed his way into the corner of the play pen. He would only fuss a little until I got up and moved him away from the side and then went back to sleep. Emma refused to sleep in her own bed once again even though we bought her a really cool Lighting McQueen sleeping bag. So she slept between Quinn and I. The weather was good - a little on the cool side, especially at night which is why we came home Sunday night. The forecast for Bear Lake that night was supposed to reach the low 30s and we just didn't feel like camping in that cold of weather and it gave us a day to recover before Quinn had to get back to work. Overall a fun weekend.

Playing the fish game with Grandma and Uncle Daniel.

My napping boys. James is in the playpen in the back.

We celebrated Utah's win.

Emma and Anne tubed (very slowly).

We went for a boat ride.

We played on the beach in the sand.

We played cards.

Saying goodbye to Uncle Daniel.
