Pack's Pumpkin Patch

Last Friday we visited Pack's Pumpkin Patch after two unsuccessful trips to J&J Nursery's pumpkin patch. It was great except for the mud but the kids had fun.
Running the haymaze!

They found the finish.

Witches!

We thought the kids would enjoy being pulled in the cart on the way out to the patch, boy were we wrong. Emma cried the entire time to get out and walk.

Family Weekend Part II

The day after Snowbird the kids and I met my Mom, Carly and Owen at Gardner Village to see all the witches and have lunch. Funny thing is I didn't get a single picture of a witch, I was too busy checking them off the scavenger list so we could get our discounted cookie from the bakery. I'll have to get them from Carly. The kids had a great time at the petting zoo while we waited for Mom and Carly who were way late. Good thing it was two buck Tuesday. I will say the petting zoo is really great there.

Emma got to ride the pony too, his name is Marshmallow.

Stroller buddies: James and Owen.

So cute right, but this was just before Emma couldn't hold him up there anymore and he face planted off the hay and skinned his nose for the first time.

It was a beautiful day and there were tons of leaves for the kids to play in.
Next time we plan to go without the kids, we didn't get to do any shopping.

Family Weekend!

Two weeks ago we enjoyed a fun family weekend with the Van Bibbers. My brother Daniel and his wife Hannah along with their daughter Lyla came into town from Ohio. So we all gathered at my parents house. Carly, Jeff and Owen also came up from St. George. We were only missing my youngest brother Taylor who is currently serving a mission in Alaska. We talked, played games, watched the kids run around, and ate all weekend long.

The siblings: Daniel & Hannah, Quinn & Lauralee, Brock & Anne, Jeff & Carly

Grandma and Grandkids

Two of the cutest kids ready for Halloween!

This is Lyla who we had not met yet. She is the biggest doll.

The next day all of us except for Jeff and Quinn were able to join Grandma and Grandpa Zundel up at Snowbird. We went on our traditional walk before going swimming.

Grandma and the kids climbing rocks.

Uncle Daniel and Emma showing off their karate moves.

Everyone got in the pool, this hasn't happened since we were kids.

Daniel and Emma competing for the biggest wave.

Think two kids are hard - try four.

They all got a cute Halloween outfit from Grandma and we wanted to show them off.

It was hilarious to watch all of us adults trying to get our kids attention and get them all to look and smile at the camera at the same time.

This is how it ended - Owen about to fall off the couch and Emma panicking because Lyla is pulling her hair. She needs to get used to this though if she wants to be my helper with her new baby sister!

We had a great time but only wish we could have spent more time with Daniel, Hannah and Lyla. We are not sure when we will see them again.

23 Weeks!

23 Weeks!
Still feeling good but getting big already. This girl is also very active and loves to kick. I''m hoping everyone will be able to feel it soon. Emma thinks its funny that she kicks her when she is sitting on my lap reading books. Can't wait till she can feel it for herself. Emma is still very excited about her baby sister and can't wait to be able to help out. I hope that excitement is still there when we bring her home and she realizes what having a baby in the house is all about.

Swimming Lessons!

Emma finished another round of swimming lessons but this time she PASSED! Yeah this was her 3rd time taking this class. I think it was because she was just not old enough before. She had a great time and has improved so much this year. We still have a little fish on our hands.

Emma is in the middle practicing her front float.

Passing off her back float.

She passed and earned the biggest pixie stick ever from her teacher!

Children's Museum

Last Saturday we visited the Discovery Gateway Children's Museum. The kids had a blast exploring all the different activities. It is mostly like the Tree House Museum in Ogden but more science based not reading based.
The ball exhibit was one of their favorites. There were tons of holes/tubes to place the balls in and watch where the rushing air would take them.

Making music.

James and Emma on a contruction site. Emma is running the working crane.

James loved playing in the water.
