Mia at 4 Months Old

I can't believe she is already this big. She is the best baby and loves to smile whenever you are talking to her. She loves to be up watching everything. She talks to herself and just learned how to grab her toes this week. Mia still hates being on her tummy because she can't see what's going on and so is still not rolling over but that is fine with me. We just love our happy girl.

Just hanging out

Here we are just hanging out trying to get Mia to smile for the camera. Emma and James just love her and she loves to watch them.

Fun in the sun with our Diva Mia!

Emma said, "Mom she looks famous!"
I said, "What makes you think that?"
Emma replied, "Because she looks like that famous cat on Word Girl."

Joy School Graduation

On Monday June 3rd Emma graduated from Joy School. We all met for family night and had dinner and a small ceremony for the kids to let them know how special they are. The loved it. The girls had been working on books all about themselves and finally got to see them put together. I can't believe that she is old enough to go to kindergarten in the fall. Didn't I just have her? She is getting so tall and big. She can do so many things and loves to help me most of the time. She is starting to do chores around the house, still climbs all over the swing set like a monkey and would live on her bike or scooter if I let her. Emma loves being a big sister. She loves to talk Mia and hold her. She thinks she is big enough to pick her up and move her places whenever she likes. I walked into the room the other day and did a double take because Mia was not on the floor where I had left her but up on the couch in Emma's arm with a smile on her face.

We love our Emma!

Waving their school pennants that they made and singing the Joy School song, "I've Got Joy."

Memorial Day

We had a very busy Memorial Day but so much fun. First we headed over to Hogan Park bright and early for the 5k run. It was my second run of the weekend (I ran in Ogden on Saturday to support a 5k that Brooke organized for her sons school). This race was so fun because first of all Anne and Carly ran it with me and second it is free and you get a free breakfast. We had a great time and it was a good run. It was Carly's first 5k and she did awesome. We need to do it again sometime.

The Runners.

The supporters.

Cousins having fun at the park.

Uncle Kyle and the life flight helicopter were there again. Here they are showing us how they load a patient. Cousin Nicole was the patient.

James just chilling in the fire truck. He is big into fire trucks and firemen right now.

The whole crew.

Next we were off to Cherry Hill with all of Quinn's family for some mini-golf. We had a great time. Mia slept in the stroller and James and Emma were hilarious to watch on each hole. It varied just how much they cheated and just how close to the hole they wanted to start. There was also a lot of just throwing the ball with their hands but they had so much fun.

Silly Emma.

Cute Mia.

Some Lavenders and Tanner's friend Courtney.

After lunch with the Lavenders we headed up to Ogden for dinner with the Van Bibbers and another barbecue. The kids had fun playing in the yard and on the swings. I don't know how they still have energy. We also celebrated my Mom's birthday and had a campfire. It was a great day.

Love that smile and Aunt Annie.

Swinging cousins and Papa.

Swimming Lessons Again

Emma had another round of swimming lessons and did great. She loves to do the front float with her face in the water but still a little bit uncomfortable with the back float. She is starting to learn how to move her arms and legs at the same time to actually swim. The teacher said she passed but recommends taking this level again because on the next level they are supposed to swim unassisted and she didn't think she was quite ready for that.

Mia enjoyed watching the kids swim. She really was happy most of the time, I promise.

Emma and her class practicing with life jackets in the deep end.

Our Growing Girl

Can't believe this girl is already 4 months old. Time has gone by so fast. Here a few photos from the month of May. Still trying to catch up.

She loves to chew on anything she can't get in her mouth.

Big Brother and Big Sister love Little Sister!

She hated not being up high at the dinner table. The bouncy seat was not cutting it anymore. So we pulled out the highchair and she is as happy as can be at dinner just to watch us.

Finally able to get her to do some tummy time with out her throwing a tantrum. She is now where near rolling over because until recently she refused to be on her tummy.

She is loving this new toy even though she doesn't really play yet or jump but loves being up and able to watch everyone.

Starting to get some chub on those legs but now where near what Emma had.
