Life with three kids

Life is pretty much back to normal. We are back on track with our regular schedule and Mia just fits in some how because she has too. The poor girl sleeps when she can. I do feel bad that she is going to end up a car baby, meaning she will be woken up from naps and put in the car to run the other kids here or there. So it is a very good thing that she is so good natured about it and is a good baby in the car. We all love her so much. The kids love to give her kisses and hugs and she is getting used to sleeping through their screams of play.

We love to make her smile.

She loves to be swaddled and sleeps the best that way.

Emma was in playing quietly and got tired so she found a nice cozy spot to curl up. I remember being able to curl up in chairs like that as a kid to and was so disappointed when I got too big.

1 1/2 weeks ago James decided he was finally ready to potty train and basically did it all by himself. Love this boy for making something easy in our life.

Emma and James all dressed up for a parade. At least James has gun to go along with his princess slippers and wand.

Love this outfit, thanks Aunt Carly!

Big smiles.

Emma is learning how to ride a two wheeler. She can do it but she is still nervous so she only rides a few feet and then stops. We are just waiting for her to get on and take off when she is ready.

James finally decided that using the pedals is great. He has been able to reach them for awhile but refused to use them.

This girl loves her bouncy seat and any mobile. Her face just lights up and she moves her little legs and arms around.

Conference Weekend

Mia is asleep and the kids are outside playing in the back where I can hear them so I am desperately trying to get caught up as this is my third post in the last half hour. So Conference weekend was wonderful. It means so much more when you don't get to hear all of it because of kids. So what I heard I loved. Sunday morning was the only session that I made the kids be in the room the whole time and try to listen. We colored, made collages and played conference bingo. I also tried hard to capture Mia's smiles on camera, which have been happening for a while now but every time I pull out the camera she stops. Silly baby.

Coloring.

New glasses finally.

Some smiles.

More coloring.

James trying to get Dad to wrestle.

Love it when they fall asleep cuddling with you.

Friend magazine collages.

Snuggle time with Dad.

More smiles.

Can't believe she is already 9 weeks old here and looking more like Emma.

Spring Break at the Zoo

I have learned my lesson. Don't ever go to the zoo over Spring Break. Apparently the rest of Utah had the same idea. Wednesday was a beautiful day and everyone took advantage of it. The aquarium was nothing compared to this and there is way more room at the zoo. It was more busy than a free day. We didn't really even get to see that much because it was so hard to move through the crowds. I'm so glad we were with friends so that the kids still had fun. Here are a few pictures I was able to get.

Llamas!

Tigers!

Sleeping perfect Mia.

Giraffes

Trying to make Emma look as tall as a Giraffe!

Spring Break at the Aqaurium

It was spring break the first week of April. With Emma's break from preschool and Carly and Owen up for the blessing we decided to take the kids somewhere fun. It turned out to be a could day so we headed to the Living Planet Aquarium in Sandy. We had a lot of fun but it was very crowded and we only lost James once so it turned out to be a fun adventure. Mia was perfect and slept the entire time.

Raising and lowering flags on the other side of the room on a boat.
James had to be pulled away from this crying.

Scary faces!

Easter & Mia's Blessing Day

We blessed Emma on Super Bowl Sunday and James on Mother's Day so we decided to keep the tradition going. Mia was blessed March 31st on Easter Sunday by her father. Quinn gave her the most beautiful blessing and she didn't make a peep.  It also turned out to be a beautiful warm spring day. The kids had fun exploring their Easter baskets and hunting for eggs. The Easter Bunny was very generous once again.

Scripture Scouts CD, coloring book, a car, and a camera.

Bible story DVD, computer game, coloring book, baton and a camera.

Hunting for eggs!

Happy Easter Mia.
