It's a GIRL!!

After a very long 5 week wait we now know that this little bundle of joy is a girl and we are so happy. Emma is very excited to be getting a little sister. She looks perfect and healthy so we are very relieved. Now we can start getting things ready. James got moved to his new Lightning McQueen race car toddle bed and is loving it. He made the transition way better than Emma did. I have been very fortunate that both my kids have loved their crib and never tried to climb out. So the preparation has begun to go from a family of 4 to a family of 5. Here are a few 3D pictures and the money shot.

Hope this doesn't mean we have another thumb sucker.

Brigham City Temple Open House

Emma and I were able to attend the Bountiful Temple open house with Grandma Van Bibber. I'm so glad that I did not take James he would not have lasted, Emma barely did. It was a fun girls outing though. Emma was very impressed with all the sparkley lights in the temple, other than that I'm not sure she really cared.

She was very excited to go on her first bus ride as we took the shuttle from the parking area.

The temple was very beautiful inside and out. I looks huge from the outside but it is really one of the small temples.

Then we hit Wingers for some yummy lunch.

Bear Lake

After waiting all summer for our family trip to Bear Lake with my parents, grandparents, and siblings James and I ended up being sick the whole time. Did I also mention that it was my birthday week. Despite being sick and very tired we did still have a lot of fun. Here a a few pictures I got.

On the way up we stopped a park in Logan for Quinn to find one of his letter boxes under a train track.

Just hanging out!

This guy also hung out with us all weekend at the property.

Me: trying to get a few more minutes of sleep after sharing my bed with James and therefore not getting much sleep during the night. After two nights of no sleep and croup starting to set in we packed up and went home a day early. Very sad.

Shakes!!

Well Emma is not a very fast rider yet and since the KOA only has one bike trailer for rent we let Owen take that for himself and we rented this very heavy bike that did not get us very far in the hour that we had it but we did still have fun.
