I am 32 years old. I should know better. I should act my age. But every time we sing "Keep the Commandments" at church, when we get to the part that says "Words....of a prophet" I always want to sing "Word....to your mother."
Primary will never be the same. How will I ever explain to our chorister why I will no longer be able to keep a straight face through any of these songs? Thanks A LOT!
My friend Brett Crockett was convinced until he was about 20 that "In the snow he melted" was "In the snowy mountain" in the Once There Was a Snowman song. It made more sense after he sorted that out, but I like his version better.

With the same disclaimer, I still sing "Come, come, ye saints. No toilet paper here..." I'm not proud of it.
And now all three of our kids also finish off the first line with..."but with joy, wipe away." Thanks Garrett.
I always sing "Woof woof woof woof, Lorenzo Snow..." For Latter-Day Prophets primary song.
