Pine Wood Derby

I am now a Beehive Advisor in the Young Women's program. We were invited to do a pinewood derby with the boys. It was really fun to see all the girly cars.

The awards.

All the cars - everyone is so creative. I see flip flops (one of them one by the way), Swiss cheese, Lightning McQueen (the loosing car), a Barbie car, Minions, race cars, ice cream sandwich, and lots of cars with polka dots.

My polka dot car getting ready to race - it did not do well. The wheels were bad. As you can see I came in 54th out of 57th! Still had fun though.

January Happenings

Yes we are still here. It was very nice to get back to real life and we enjoyed it. I also think all of us were sick and some point during the month too. But we did have fun with friends pretending to be cats.
