Happy Easter

Easter was early this year - the last Sunday in March. I had fun learning how to dye eggs the Czech way with my friend Val and her sister. Val lived in the Czech Republic for a couple of years. It involves melting crayons and wax and putting that on your egg first and coloring it. So fun and some of them even turned out cute. Then we had an Easter Egg Hunt with some friends. This was so much for more fun then going over to the school for the city egg hunt. No one cried and everyone got 10 eggs. The kids really enjoyed and I think we will expand this to more families next year. Easter Sunday was fast Sunday for us so it was great to be able to bear testimony of the Resurrection of our Savior Jesus Christ. We also took the kids up to see Grandpa Lavenders headstone and to remember him and to remind the kids that we will see him again. Then we had dinner at Grandma Van Bibber's house with another egg hunt. These kids are spoiled!
