Christmas

Here are some of our pictures from Christmas morning and from the day after Christmas with the Lavenders. Looking back I realized I did not take a single picture on Christmas Eve with the Van Bibbers or later on Christmas Day when they came to our house. I will have to get copies from my Mom. I also noticed that I am not in a single picture from Christmas morning. I must have been running the camera.

So we spent Christmas Eve with my family in Ogden eating way to much and playing lots of games. We so much fun that we did not arrive home until around 11:00 pm. Making it a very long night for our kids. So when Christmas morning came they were happy and excited for only a few hours. Emma wouldn't even finish opening the last of her and James' presents. Quinn opened the last few. After that a much needed nap was taken and the kids were put to bed early that night. My family was nice enough to come to our house so that we could just stay home and relax. I think every one had a great Christmas I know I did. Quinn always spoils me even though we were not supposed to go overboard this year because we knew we would be buying a new computer but I think I spoiled him too.

The day after Christmas all the Lavenders attended church with Quinn's parents for their Christmas program and then went back to their house for more food, presents and games. You will see there are no pictures of James with his gifts because he slept through that part of the day. Next year he will be right in the mix though.

Presents

I was excited about this gift because Emma has shown on interest in playing with a doll except to occasionally want to take it for walks but this doll comes with a whole doctor kit. I really thought she would enjoy playing doctor but I was wrong. She won't let us turn the doll on (it giggles or cries) and she really doesn't even want it in her playroom. She says she doesn't like it. I'm not sure why because the other doll she has also giggles and it's not a problem. Oh well can't win them all.

James enjoyed the wrapping paper and boxes as we all knew he would.

This toy was a hit though. Emma loves her tool box and is very excited to help Dad fix something.

Emma the next day at the Lavenders after receiving a computer. She loves it and wants to have everyone check it out.
