Quinn's work had a family night at the Bee's Game on Aug. 4th. Since it was free we decided to take Emma and James and see how they would do. They had tons of fun riding the train, eating ice cream and playing at the play ground but other than that they were pretty bored.
One summer day we took two friends to the Children's Museum with us and had a blast. They played with balls, flew in a helicopter and found out what a hurricane feels like. While there some other friends invited us to go on a tour of the Conference Center with their Grandpa who is a missionary there. I have always wanted to take the kids there but had never done it. This was the perfect opportunity because we were already downtown. It was so neat. There are so many wonderful works of art in this great building too. That night I was beat but the kids were still up for going to the Davis County Fair with Dad. What a great Dad. Mia and I gladly stayed home with our feet up!
Our very last two days of summer were spent playing with Cousin Lyla. Daniel and Hannah stopped in Utah for a couple weeks of fun as they were moving to Reno. We had a blast at Cherry Hill. It was our first time there and even though the kids were tired they didn't want to leave. I can see us getting a summer pass there in the future when they are just a bit older and can go along on things. The next day we visited the Curiosity Museum at Thanksgiving Point. This was also our first time there and it was a free day so it was super busy. The kids didn't get to do everything but still had fun exploring. The day was cut a bit short because they were tired still from Cherry Hill and Daniel and Hannah needed to stop along the way home and shop for a new car. Plus school starts TOMORROW!
