More Summer Fun

Neighborhood Hike #2

So before we even left the parking lot Mia fell and scrapped up her hands pretty good but once we got her cleaned up we were on our way. We didn't go as far as us Moms would have like but it was more up hill than we thought. This trail starts up by the Temple and goes up from there. But we all had fun. The kids played by the river and had a snack. On the way back down Val say a rattle snake sitting just off the trail asleep. Thank goodness I didn't see and that it didn't bother us. I guess I need to start carrying a snake bite kit. The kids all thought it was cool.

Bountiful Handcart Days

The kids along with Emma's friend Lily had fun at the park playing games, riding the train, jumping in the bounce house and eating cotton candy. Who wouldn't have fun?

Later in the month our friends took us to the zoo. We hadn't been in awhile and really wanted to see the lion cubs. They were so cute! After they left we caught the bird show which I love but my friend is afraid of birds! Our favorite part of the bird show is the beginning when Emma can see the falcons up close. It was hot but so fun. We have the best friends! During the small animal show James got to go up and answer questions about animals. Good thing they still like the show Wild Kratts and knew all the answers. Emma was very jealous, but that's life.
