Easter did not come soon enough for Emma. The day I got out the Easter decorations she started asking if the Easter Bunny had come yet. Boy is it hard to wait. She was also very anxious to color easter eggs. Well it finally got here. We started our Easter celebration on Saturday at the school with every other family in Woods Cross but it was well organized and we had a great time. First up was the easter egg hunt or more appropiately the easter egg grab as the eggs were just put out on the grass. Emma and James both snagged a few eggs.
Here we with Grandma and Grandpa Lavender waiting for it to begin.Showing off her loot.
Next it was inside to see the Easter Bunny.
We left Dad in the 5 minute line for the Bunny and Emma got a tattoo. Don't worry it melted off as Emma put it in time for church.
No one afraid this year!
Emma also got to make a magnet and do the cake walk.
Then it was time to play on the playground with we waited for the raffel to start.
Later that day Emma finally got to color Easter Eggs!
Finally the day arrived and the Easter Bunny came while we were at church. Emma got a little tea set and I now have to attend many tea parties.
New shades.
Then outside for the Easter egg hunt. James quickly learned that there was candy inside and wanted to eat them all right then. He was very upset with me when I finally cut him off.
Emma rushed around the yard and with each egg she found she would shout, "An Easter Egg!" She is always very excited about life.
Well that was our Easter. Hope yours was as fun as ours.

I am so jealous of all your thick green grass and sunshine. Can you send some my way?
