Week 3 - Spring Break

Week 3 of social distancing it was Spring Break for the kids. Thank goodness because we were all ready for it. Quinn took Monday and Tuesday off to have some fun with us. It was not the Spring Break we had planned on. We were not able to go and visit Carly and her family in St. George or go play with friends. But we still had some family fun.

Sunday we had church at home, made paper flowers, created with perler beads, found a birds nest in our pine tree, went for a walk and made a hot wheels track down the stairs.

Emma played the piano for our hymn.

I think Quinn is playing pool.

Four eggs!

Monday - since the weather wasn't the best we just had a lazy day at home.  More perler beads, video games, coloring Easter eggs, and a family game night. Quinn also got out of the house with Mia and did a letter box.

Tuesday - We got out of the house and went to Antelope Island State Park. It was our first time there and we had a blast. Can't wait to go back in the summer when the visitor center and the ranch are open. The kids also want to try floating in the lake.  We went for a hike, had a picnic, saw bison and antelope, and walked around the ranch. We were also able to do a few letter boxes.

I promise there are antelope in this picture!

Wednesday - We just hung out. Emma played Lego with her friend over video chat, Mia and I painted our toenails, and James played video games. We took Toby for a walk with his new bandanna.

Thursday - More of the same. James counted his money. The kids allowance is adding up since we have been staying home. Emma is getting close to having enough money for a bearded dragon pet. I got my daily workout done. Then we saw the sun poke out so it was time for our daily walk/bike ride. But by the time we got outside the sun was gone and it was snowing. Mia and I pushed on and 15 minutes later it sunny and warming up again. We decided we needed cookies and these ones turned out yummy. That night the kids and I watched a movie and started doing puzzles till Quinn got home from work and school.

Friday - Repeat of Thursday. More puzzles and another bike ride down on the Legacy Park Way. Then games when Quinn finished work. He works from home about 50% of the time.

Saturday - Conference Weekend.  We were so looking forward to watching Conference and hearing from our prophet. It was wonderful. The kids did great. We spent most of the day doing more puzzles. We ended up finishing all of our puzzles 300 pieces or less. I realized we hadn't done some of them in a while because Mia thought they were new. We did get outside for a bit in between sessions and enjoyed the sun.
