Week 20 - Pineview and Summer Band

Sunday July 26th we had church and took naps! One of the kids did sneak out of their room and took a picture of me. Grandma Lavender had us over for dinner and a game night.

Tuesday we hit the beach at Pineview again with friends. It was another great day with lots of friends and fun. The kids barely came out of the water to eat but we did manage to not get too burned.

This week Emma started Summer Band Camp. She goes for three weeks Mon.-Thurs. for 30 minutes. She is super excited to start playing her clarinet but was disappointed the class moved so slow. Here she is practicing on Wednesday and also had my Come Follow Me small group discussion.

Trying to have a discussion about the Book of Mormon and this is going on in the back ground.

Mia started piano lessons this week and is so happy to go and practice.
She had me record her first song.

Saturday Pam and I hiked up Deuel Creek Canyon to a waterfall. It was so nice to be on a less busy trail and it was also shady most of the way. Toby loved it.

Just as I got home from my hike Quinn and the kids were packing up to head up to the Dinosaur Park in Ogden. They asked if I wanted to go but I said don't wait for me and so I got to enjoy a nice quite afternoon while they sweated it out in the heat. Dad award of the year! Except for the ice cream for lunch part.
