Mia's Baptism

 Saturday May 6, 2021

Mia was baptized at our church building on a beautiful Saturday morning by her Dad. She was very excited for her baptism. She was also a bit nervous and practiced the dip several times with Quinn. So it didn't bother her that due to Covid-19 restrictions only her Grandparents could attend in person. All other family and friends were able to watch over zoom. She was also confirmed a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and given the gift of the Holy Ghost by her Dad. Mia loved Emma's baptism dress and choose to wear it too.

We were so happy that Grandparents were allowed to come in person. I really wanted them there and we were originally told that it could only be immediate family. But restrictions lift just a little bit a few days before hand so that they were able to attend. It was really nice to be able to have the zoom so that family who live far away and wouldn't have been able to attend in person were still able to view the baptism. I hope that this is one thing that can continue once the pandemic is over. Kyle's family were even able to watch from a tubing activity with his work at Soldiers Hollow and didn't have to miss it for the baptism if it had been in person.

After we went back to our house to open a few presents before heading to lunch at El Matador.

This girl still loves Panda's and received a few more for her collection.

After lunch we stopped at the new Veterans Memorial Park in Bountiful. Quinn surprised his Mom by submitting his Dad's name for the memorial.
