Having recently viewed Seasons 1-5 of MASH (yes, I'm a fanatic) I can't decide. Colonel Blake was not fit for the Army and he never knew what was going on, but always made the show so much funnier. Colonel Potter was definitely made for the Army, and was in control of the unit, but wasn't quite as funny. I do love how he never tolerated Major Burns though.

Colonel Potter was definitely the better man for the job, but Colonel Blake is just so much more fun to watch bumble through the job!!

Colonel Blake was a lot funnier. I like him better. Some of my favorite episodes are with him.

I enjoyed them both as they're totally different.
It's like trying to compare the two guys who played Hawkeye's BFF.
Colonel Blake just because he is so clueless to everyone around him!
